Would you like to participate in the official NIFF newsletter?

For the 2024 edition, the festival is offering eight university students the opportunity to contribute to the event's official newsletter by publishing critical reviews and interviews with the competing directors. The selected students will participate in an online training session with an Italian film critic. They will then preview the films and submit their texts by the end of July. The goal is to practice critical writing and deepen their knowledge of contemporary world cinema.

The festival will take place in Pamplona from September 19th to 21st. In-person participation is optional, and all costs are the student's responsibility. However, participants will have online access to all festival sessions so they can participate remotely. They will also be able to participate free of charge in the 2025 edition of the festival with their own short film.

 

Applications close on June 1, 2024.

• Activities: One training session with a critic (online, between May and June) + preparation of critical commentaries and interviews with directors + optional participation in the Navarra International Film Festival 2024.

• Benefits: Critical writing training + first access to all films in competition + online access to all festival sessions + free registration for the 2025 edition.

• Requirements: Good written English (B2)

An understanding of Spanish is required to view the films. Priority will be given to candidates with a good written Spanish level.
