NIFF Young Jury
Do you love movies and would like to discuss films with young people from around the world?
The Navarra International Film Festival was created as a meeting place for diverse creators and disciplines to promote inclusion and generate social debate through cinema and its protagonists. Thus, NIFF was created to generate awareness, impact, and social growth, combat disengagement, accommodate a wide variety of opinions, and place people at the center of everything.
In the 2024 edition, the festival offers twelve university students the opportunity to serve on the jury for the New Generation section, where short films made by emerging directors from around the world compete. The selected students will have first access to the films between June and July, while the final meeting to select the winning short film will take place online in August, likely before the 15th of that month. This is an opportunity to connect with students and film enthusiasts internationally, fostering exchange and critical reflection on audiovisual media.
The festival will take place in Pamplona from September 19 to 21. In-person participation is optional, and all costs are the student's responsibility. However, participants will have online access to all festival sessions, allowing them to participate remotely. They will also be able to participate free of charge in the 2025 edition of the festival with their own short film.
Registration closes June 1, 2024.
